Mondo Apology...
We humbly apologize to all of you who came to see October Babies
at the Blind Pig Showcase tonight (especially those who traveled to Ann
Arbor from out of town). We were all set up for soundcheck, and then,
suddenly, the management had to cancel the show. Apparently, out of the
4 bands slated to play this evening, we were the only band who showed
up!?? We and the Blind Pig staff were baffled by this no-show, but
there it is.
For those of you who came out to see us, we're very
sorry, and hope that you were not terribly inconvenienced. We met
about 30 of you outside of the club and were able to explain the
circumstances, but for the rest of you, we left a sign on the door, and
sent text mails to notify you of the cancellation. Hopefully you
didn't make a trip and arrange your schedule for nothing.
We are scheduled to play on June 20 at both the
Crossroads festival (outdoor stage) and TC's Speakeasy in Ypsilanti.
If some new gigs pop up before then, we will certainly let you know.
